Savage Model 16 Barrels

I just picked up a used model 16 in .243 and would like an additional 7-08 or .308 barrel for it. What is the best source for buying a used Savage barrel? I am happy with the factory barrel accuracy and don't want to pay more for a barrel than I can buy another used gun for. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Probably the best place to get a used barrel is in the member classifieds. You have to pay the $12 membership, but there are lots of barrels and parts that get sold on there and usually at very fair prices. If you need a stainless barrel to match your mod 16, it may be a little tougher to find, as most of the used barrels are blued, at least it seems that way to me.
