So I have an early 2000’s model 111 .270 with the side button release. Of course I lost the mag so now the search is on.
These are the numbers I was given 3 numbers used in blue color55111, older 103208 and oldest 113-142.
I found a magazine that looks the same but the number is different. I don’t know if the number is different because the magazine is all metal and mine had a plastic bottom. The savage number is 113-735Y
Will this work?

If the magazine is for the right round, grab it. Savage has always had a horrible part # system. Even today they have multiple numbers for the same magazine assembly based on different models that same magazine is used in. It makes no sense, but that's the way it's always been with Savage. Focus on the cartridge family (in your case, .25-06, .270, .30-06 mags would all work) rather than the part # and you'll probably have better luck finding what you need.

Sorry I missed your thread whitelightning. Just seeing it today. You have one of the Staggerfeed DMB’s, with the mag release button on the side of the stock. I’m not certain of the part numbers, but the magazine you want has the latching on the side like this link: https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1778648253?pid=812826 Unfortunately it’s been discontinued. I don’t know if there are new production under a different part number or if left over/used is your only option. The magazines with the latch on the front won’t work.

Can’t say for sure, but it looks like this #50117 is the correct magazine. The listing from EBay, the package specifies it’s a “frame mount release” Whatever that means. It’s also stating it’s the Magazine Bottom, which makes sense as the Staggerfeed magazine had the mag box attached to the Receiver.

Also this one, which is the same 55123 part number as the MidwayUSA listing(discontinued) So it’s apparently a “left over”.

Might be the one he already saw, since he had the pt# in his original post and wondered if it would work.
It will definitely work and has his caliber stamped right on the side of it. Only difference to the one he lost is a metal bottom instead of the plastic bottom cover, but like Jim mentioned, with as rare as these are getting to acquire he should grab it while it’s available if he didn’t already find one.
