This is a really interesting development.

At one time Vista products were banned at REI due to Vista's ownership of firearms companies. I wonder if this is a way to get back into that market.

And CSG does not seem to have a US presence. With this acquisition they will have factories in the US which might give them a way to import more of their goods without all the tariff issues.

CSG also owns a large stake in Fiocchi as of earlier this year.
