Thanks for the continued support Mike. You're probably one of only a handful of people still around from the very early days of the site. People's hobbies and interest's change as time passes by, my own included, and that's to be expected. others sadly have just fallen victim to age and time over the past 22 years here. It's always fun though when I pop on and see a name that reminds me of those bygone days, which then of course reminds me of many more names from those early days.

Looks like the "Basic Member "thang" showed up for the post that got "dumped" when we (myself and a few others) were talking about the 2nd amendment thing?
To me, and a few others, anything gun related IS political and a CONTROL thing!! Mention Gun Control to keep everybody from seeing THAT MAN BEHIND THE CURTIN.
Anyhow, back to being a Team Savage member in good standing???
It has been mentioned that when things go wrong at the circus, they send in the clowns as a distraction. Need I say more?? ;)

So, maybe I'am NOT the only one that thinks that way. Just can't talk about it here.;)

The second amendment is not politics. Is it?

Technically, no it's not. Unfortunately though you can't mention anything even remotely related to it on here without certain people instinctively making it about politics. Furthermore, the "no politics" rule has been in place since day one (9-2-2001) when I launched this forum originally on ProBoards. Fortunately 99.9% of the people fully understand the reason for the rule, but there are always those few in the 0.1% that just never seem to get it.

If I say any more, Jim might show up at my front door and I'll have to buy him a beer. (I don't drink) ;)
