I am a hunter in N.E. Florida. Mostly hunt hogs and coyotes and the occasional deer if one of my friends wants some venison. Personally, don't care for deer meat. I own 4 Savage Gen III Model 11s in .223, .243, 6.5 Creedmoor and .308. Love them all. In my opinion, they are the best option for the money. The fact that Savage makes many rifles for lefties is what originally attracted me to them. Look forward to touring this site and picking other Savage owners brains.
