I was loading 223/5.56's on my Dillon 550 press last month and had 4 rounds left out of 500 and the cam popped off the powder measure, after picking up the parts I noticed the screw that holds it together had stripped the threads out of the hole, mind you this outfit is 39 years old and I have loaded litterly thousands and thousands of rounds since purchasing it in 1984. I took a picture of it and sent it to Dillon and asked them if they had a fix for this problem. I'm guessing my powder measure is a first production model and they have made several changes since then, to end this story I sent the old powder measure to them and a week later I received a brand-new measure complete and there was no charge. A company can't get any better than that. When they say lifetime warranty they mean it.

If my Lee Loadmaster ever fails me I'll get a Dillon.

Every time I think it is done in I end up with some new parts from Lee that make it work like new (also free). Keep in mind I am not a high volume shooter so I've only put about 20k or 30k rounds through it in the 20 years I've owned it.

And, I always recommend a Dillon for anyone who asks. The Lee can be 'tempermental' at times until you learn the quirks.

2 lees, one set for small primer and one large. it dose take a light mechanical ability to set them up. RCBS primer holders work better in then then the Lee dose.
Also a Dillon 650 and a RCBS Piggy Back. Only clear winner is the Dillon for large volumes of .308win with the auto case feeder. The others work fine for smaller jobs and build ammo just fine.
have gotten free parts for all three as needed.

One of the many reasons to buy a Dillon.
