That's what we all are looking for. You need a hunting license and non-lead ammunition, from what I understand and they do check. A lot of people enjoy airgun opportunities as well. Just have to find a landowner who's simpatico.

A lot of people I talk to resent land owners charging for the privelege, but I've had good hunting up in Alturas County in the past on places that wanted compensation.
