During thermal scope testing around the perimeter of the abode, I noticed a lot of mouse activity.
So after varmint season ended I Attached the backup Adder thermal scope to a .177 PCP rifle and went hunting.

I had a rat infestation in my chicken coop. I went with a Diana Chaser, 0.177", with a red light and a red/green reflex sight. Just barely powerful enough (700 fps) . . . but enough with a headshot. The supressor actually works and it is almost silent.

Years ago when we moved into our house, and the builder didn't quite seal up one section of the foundation (I live with nothing but woods behind me) I had a mouse issue. The "fun" began when I did my own 44 mag shot shell reloads using #9 shot and VV-N110. Still have a few 2x4's with mouse bone permanently stuck in 'em.

That's quite an innovative approach to dealing with mice! Using a thermal scope and a rifle sounds like an interesting way to keep them in check. I've been struggling with pests in my house as well, so I totally understand the need to find effective solutions.By the way, while browsing online, I stumbled upon a pest control company that offers wasp pest control services. I'm considering giving them a try since they seem to have a good reputation.

I've got no use for those critters.

I use the Black Kat converted PCP rifle.
Cheap, quiet and semi accurate with the right pellet.
With the converted CO2 tank, I get about 40 quality shots before it needs about 30 pumps to refill it.

The mouse from the previous video needed a follow up shot to take it down.

Just watched your videos, and I must say your mouse hunting setup is pretty impressive. The Adder thermal scope on a .177 PCP seems like a real game changer. Btw, I think it's worth getting a Toxic Respond (https://toxicrespond.co.uk/moths/) in your situation, what do you think? I'm new to this forum, but can already tell that I'll be spending a lot of time around here.
