Savage and Stevens...same barrel?

I own a Savage Model 10 chambered in .223 Rem. can I put a .223 Stevens barrel on my existing action? Is the shank the same on all the .223 barrels? Thanks for any help.

The only 223's that are not small shank are the ones for a target action. Other than that they are the same and will fit your action.
