I have a 110L 338 Winchester magnum with serial number 68463 also 12T in an oval in one spot and 38T in an oval in another spot. This would seem to indicate a 1966 model, but the bolt style and trigger assembly are both pre-1966. Father in law was original owner, and he is not around to ask any questions. Trying to find a replacement adjustable trigger. Have checked with Basix Triggers, and they have said their triggers will not work with any pre 1966 models. The trigger spring seems to be in the safety along with two other screws. The trigger does not have e clips and pins, this one has drive out pins. Any suggestions on what year this may actually be and what trigger will fit it? Thanks!

Sorry, never seen an aftermarket Pre-66 trigger. However, those are actually quite fine triggers. The preferred model by many in fact. A bit of polishing, shims if needed, and it becomes very effective.

Here is a bit of info in Articles, if you’ve not come across it.

As for dating: “T” does represent 1966. Does yours have the Pre or Post 1966 Barrel & bolt?

I was able to find a picture comparing the two bolts, and mine is pre 1966. But the T is 1966. So I was a bit confused.

Thank you. That article was helpful. Does anyone know the correct way to adjust this trigger?

Look at post #8. Have to remove the trigger to properly adjust it. This was the first time I had seen one. Shortly after, another member sent me his to work on.. stone the surfaces & familiarize myself. His came out nicely.
