Hi everyone. Just registered. I have been accumulating firearms for awhile now. I'm 65 and retired. Kind of hit the "wall" now. Can't really find any guns that excite me anymore. So I have been upgrading triggers on some of my rifles that don't have adjustables. Now I decided I want to do a barrel swap on a Savage Model 12. Thought this would be a good place to get some knowledge.

Welcome- barrel swap is a piece of cake as long as you have tools you need. Besides barrel you will need a nut wrench, barrel vise and go/no go gauges to set headspace. What caliber are you going from and to?
