I just picked up my first Savage. A 99 from 1900. It’s unfortunately missing the rotary magazine carrier, but I’m on the hunt. It’s chambered in 303, so I’ve had a heck of a time finding ammo (not that I can do more than single shot until I find the carrier…). It’s a beautiful old rifle, I can’t wait to shoot it.
