When I was teaching Ii acquired several barrels from Douglas Barrels to use for instruction in my machining class. This one was scrapped due to wrong threads they said. I needed an example for section views in my blue print class. I sectioned this chamber area of the barrel and mounted it on a piece of phenolic. It turned out to be a good paper weight as well as showing what the inside of a rifle barrel looks like. This chamber happened to be a .338 ultra magnum. Needless to say it was good a conversation starter on my desk.
