Cheek riser

Got my new 12FTR. Looking at the cheek riser supplied, I can't figure out why one side is taller than the other, or which way it goes on.
Need your insight.

So, the “normal” thinking is the Taller side is positioned on whichever side your cheek rests. If right handed, that would be your right cheek. Therefore, positioned on the LEFT side of the buttstock. (From the rear of the rifle.) However, nothing is set it stone. Set it up how it’s comfortable for you… I’ve seen people set them up both ways.
