How much do you want to spend? I have Leup, Nightforce, Nikkon, Burris. For the money, its tough to beat the Burris. But that depends on "for the money"- what that means to you!

See if Natchaz's still has the Intencity scopes for sale. They have a 4-12 for $75 these were over $200 originally, then Weaver discontinued them and renamed them the 40/44 Weaver. I have a 3.8-12 the glass is crystal clear and it is holding up on my 260,hasn't been out of adj. yet, they are heavy duplex with 44mm objective.

Want 3 on the bottom end.

As far as cost maybe in the $250-300 range max.

For that money, I have been very happy w/ the Burris Sig Select (used) or fullfield for new. But I havent tried too many other than that. I loved my Bushnell 4200 6-24x but that was a bit more $, but quality and clairity was awsome. I would guess the 3-12x version is just as good for the buck

Pentax Gameseeker II with Penta Ballistic Plex reticle. 3-10 and 4-12 available.

Long eye relief, fully multi coated lenses, and adjustable eyepiece.

I have three of the above scopes, including a 6x42 planted on an AR15. VERY impressed with the glass.

Mueller scopes are the best for the money I have found, they would keep you in that range.

Check out the Redfield Revolution. Redfield is now owned by Leupold and this scope is made right here in the US in Leupold's factory.

Look at the Sightron Big Sky in 3-12 x 42 with HHR Reticle. Hard to beat performance and clarity for the money.

From what I have seen Redfeild is the best for the money. I have a 4-12 on my 270 and don't feel the need for anything more. Good glass and a value of more than you would pay at this point. I expect a significant price increase in the future. Good stuff for the money.

I just recently purchased a Redfield scope for my 270 and my dad went out and bought himself one right after seeing it. They really are a great value.
