I could use some help here -

Like an idiot, I recently sold a stock and without thinking I left the trigger guard in it. Now I can't find another. Is this something Savage will sell me if I call them? Is there some place that has them in stock?

It seems like such a small and inexpensive part but I can't find one anywhere. Thanks!

Did you check Numerich Arms?

That was the first place I went but I can't find the part on any of their diagrams.

Might check with forum sponsor Gunshack, I've been very happy with them on some hard to find parts.

The black one is out of stock. Nothing some black paint can’t fix.

Saw that one and had the same idea but where do I get the guts?

Might want to call Gun Shack to ask if theirs is a bare guard or assembled. I wouldn't imagine Savage would sell them bare and that photo on the page just looks like a "generic" Savage trigger guard photo. Lance, Noemi, or Wolfe will be more than happy to assist you and are some of the nicest folks you'll ever talk to.

That's great advice. Thank you!

I see it show up on eBay every once in a while.
This one doesn’t show the action release plunger in the trigger guard but might be worth asking the seller.

My suggestion also would be ebay. Might have to wait for one. Or post a Wanted in all the forum classifieds.

Black plastic is not good? How about stainless?
