New Savage owner [Archive] - Savage Shooters

new from OK. Picked up a .223 Axis on a whim. Still have yet to take it out and shoot it, but the .223s have been getting harder to find lately. First Savage I've owned, so we'll see how it treats me. Hoping to pick up some helpful hints and tricks here and maybe share anything I find in my adventure with this rifle.
