It seems to have been somewhat readily available until about a year ago, and then it has since dried up from the usual available sources.

Any ideas where to obtain more?

I’m not sure why Starline doesn’t get on board with this. There are probably at least 100,000 Savage Model 1899 rifles still in existence capable of firing this round.

It is one of those things that shows up every so often and then seems to disappear again. Better to stock up when you finally find some because with the ammo/brass situation right now I'm sure it's on the back burner.

I've never done this so am not recommending it- but something you could study out a little more if you need it right now- but "supposedly" if you are careful with the first loading you can use 30-30 brass.

Yes I’m aware that .30-30 can be resized to .303 Savage but I’d like to avoid this if possible. Results seem to be mixed anyways.
