110 tactical action

I’m putting together a 6mm creedmoor, with a 26” Shilen barrel and an MDT LSS XL2 chassis. I’ve just started looking for a 110 short action with a .308 bolt face. Northlands Shooters Supply and J&A outdoors are places that I know carry Savage actions, but I’ve never put together a rifle like this, and I was wondering if there are any other places that may carry them. Also, is there a big difference in the 110 tactical action and the regular 110 action, besides bolt handle? It looks like a 110 tactical action is gonna run around $500 or so, but I can buy a 110 Apex Hunter in .308 for about $600.

Only places I’ve seen carry them. To your other question, the answer is NO! Tactical has the larger bolt handle & and full length Picatinny rail.
