Just a heads up!

It looks like the last of the USA made Burris XTR3 non-illuminated 3.3-18x50 SCR reticle scopes are an extra $50 bucks off today and tomorrow. I have one and it is an incredible scope for that kind of money. $950 bucks is a steal!

I got one of the 3.3-18x50 SCR and one of the 5.5-30 SCR's in the spring for $1000 and 1100 respectively. and they are a really, really good scope for that price. they are quite a bit better than any of the other $1000 range scopes i have (DMR 2, XTR2, V4 Conquest). I realize that at $1100 and 1000 they were pretty steeply discounted... But the price is the price.

I don't think people are spending the money like they were 3 years ago. It may get worse and we might start seeing some deep discounts on a lot of toys.

Yesterday I saw sales on Arken as well. The SH4 was like $299. So yeah, like Robin said; there will be several deals ongoing through the next 2-3 months.

My buddy picked up one of those SH4's for $300, it isn't too bad for the price. When we were at the range the other day, i got to look through it for the first time and it wasn't bad glass. It was a bit of a step down from his Burris XTR2 5-25, and my Burris XTR2 3-15, but they are a significant amount more money, and we didn't really have anything in the price range to compare to. I am sure it would be a bit better resolution than my SWFA SS 10x even without having them side by side.
The reticle is pretty nice, but a bit cluttered.
