View Full Version : removing front sling stud ?

I have a savage MK II with the boyds thumbhole stock. When I tried to remove the front sling stud it just keeps turning but does not unscrew out. How do I get it out ?

If it's like my Boyds Pro Varmint stock, the front stud has a nut on the inside - so you need to remove the receiver to get at it.

yes it is a Boyds thumb hole stock thank you for the help
