Hey all, just got gifted a Model 16 in 308 from a buddy, everything except the action. Just here to learn and maybe help someone else with anything in my wheelhouse. Also, finding a short action for a 10/11/12/16 is harder than F. If anyone knows of a used action collecting dust let eme know so I can set up with an FFL :becky: :becky:

Welcome. So you weren’t actually gifted a 116. You were gifted parts. Do you have ALL the parts needed? Bolt assembly, trigger parts, safety? Or do you need a “complete” Action?

Yes, finding that used will be tough. Hard to find them new even, right now. If you just need a stripped Action, I have a link for you.

I’ve actually been eyeing that stripped Action at JAkoutdoors for at the last month. Almost pulled the trigger on it several times.
