Happy Father's Day a little late.
Didn't know or meet my "father" till I was in my mid 40s. He and my Mom had parted company when I was very little.
My big sister knew him and kept in contact. Phone calls, birthday and Christmas cards, etc.
Finally met him, got to know him a bit for a few years before he died. Not really my kind or person but at least I got to know him.
Had 2 POS worthless half brothers that also "wern't my kind of people". Made sure they didn't have anything to do with MY family.

Did have a stand in step father that was a Grandpa to my 2 daughters. The only Grandpa they ever knew. He and my Mom were married for 45 + years. Not thinking I could have had a better father figure.
He got a little "odd" as he got closer to his life's end but I KNOW God accepted him as he was. Between He and my Mom, they taught me how to raise my kids to be productive assets to society.
Happy belated Father's Day to any Man that had any influence on a child's life.
