Assembling a project from parts
110 SA action, bottom bolt release
older Accustock (not accufit)
AICS style bottom metal

Can someone advise on the length of action screws I need on this? The Savage DBM bottom metal screws seem to nearly fit the rear screw but not the front.

Thanks!
Greg

What do you mean doesn’t fit the front? Too long, short? A couple sizes I’ve seen for them are 1.1” & a shorter .75. I always fit my own screws, and I only use Titanium screws.

Thanks for the reply, Dave. The front action screw that was in the original Savage DBM is too short to engage the action with the AICS style magwell.
I'll do some measuring and see what looks like it will work.
Another guy told me it should be the same length as the blind mag Savage. I have one here I can pull the screw from and test fit on the accustock.

Greg

OK, you likely need the 1.1” screw. It’s 1/4-28 thread. This is where I get much of the hardware I use. And ask said, I always machine fit them myself. https://www.ti64.com/140ksi-titanium-bolts-s/110848.htm
