Same here. All my standard mounts and screws fit.

Guess I'll wait until I pick it up Friday.

Mine is 6x48 out of the factory box. All of them are 6x48 unless someone has messed with them.

This is interesting !! I just removed a 20 moa rail on a Mod 12 PTA, single shot with red blade Accu-
trigger. I installed a NF 15-55 comp on Zeiss extra high mounts. Measuring the screws used on the
rail, is .163" indicating 8/40. .140" would be 6/48" which I do not have. All my PTA's were purchased
from NSS and in factory packaging. This particular action is only 2 years old. Or could check serial no.
to see exactly.

Hmmm is right ?? I have 3 target actions and the last two are 8/40. The very first one, I' am
not sure of since it's one of my best bench shooters, I don't plan to pull the scope and check.
Don't need the bad mojo....LOL Doing a little searching and I came up with with a few people
owning 12FV's and claimed their 6/48 screws were too small for the actions, I guess some of
12's were run thru the same drilling and tapping operations, or the ones I purchased went thru
a secondary operation to correct a screw up. Either way I'm happy that they are the larger screw.
I'll be re-barreling the first action this coming winter, and if I remember I'll check. The new mounts
I plan on using have 8/40 screws from SWFA. I just may be drilling and tapping. Easy do for me....
