Pains me to say that because the rifle itself is a good shooter. The magazines are SO BAD however that it takes some of the fun out of taking the gun to the range. I`ve tried all the proposed fixes (turning the springs around every which way) and they still are miserable. I know from reading that I`m not alone with this, so I wish Savage would take notice and work up a better mag or somebody would come out with a substitute. And no, I haven`t contacted Savage so they can send me another magazine. I already have three that suck and don`t need a fourth.
