You don’t want a non accu trigger axis. The non axis trigger is very heavy with a lot of side to side wobble.

Increase the spring preload and you will no longer trip the trigger. Anytime you circumvent a safety you take a risk. Shims can remove sideplay and will in most cases make the trigger slightly more consistent. That works for all savage triggers.

You can remove the safety blade & it will function like any other trigger.

He he he said he had misfires. All we have talked about is triggers. Are r r r r we trying to fix misfires or a tripped/tripping Accutrigger?

Ahh, yes. Well, kinda figured he’s tripping the Accutrigger & mistakenly calling it a “misfire”. I think the OP needs to clarify what exactly is happening.

I honestly didn't notice much wobble in mine and the varmint spring from a 110 makes it pretty decent. Mine is around 1# with the difrferent spring. It is supposed to go to 1.5# in the 110 but for some reason it is a little less in the Axis.

Yeah but very ambiguously.
