New to the forum and fairly new to Savage rifles. A few months ago I picked up a barely used 110 Hunter with the accufit/accustock and I have really fallen in love with it. It is a blast to shoot. I recently bought a 308 model to replace a Remington 700 that I was never really happy with.

I think the Savage action is a very interesting design from a mechanical standpoint and I have enjoyed learning more about it.

Anyways, I'm here to learn, ask questions, and hopefully not be too obnoxious.

Good to have you. Welcome. Not many share your sentiment for the Savage Action. Even here. I absolutely LOVE the Savage 110 Action. I’ve been loyal to Savage since I purchased my first at 18yr. My first high power rifle, a Model 111 in 30-06 with a Simmons 3-9x40 scope. And I’ve owned several others. My current Model 10 is one of the most heavily modified Savages you’re likely to see. It already was for the last several years, but over the winter I’ve been doing a complete overhaul on it. It’s close to finished and quite unique. And I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
