Savage Axis 243 to 6.5-06

Hey first post, been playing with an axis in 243 but always dreamed of a 6.5-06, barrel is being made (1:8 twist 26" #4 contour) but just noticed the stock will not work, I will need the long action filler piece, already have the magazine, where could one source this in Canada?

If Boyd's sends to Canada I would get their stock. I did that. Went with a Boyd's Axis stock that takes the long action magazine rather than switching out the trigger guard on the factory stock.

wbm is right. Now is the time to upgrade the whole stock, not just the trigger guard. That said, if you do get a Boyds, make sure you upgrade its trigger guard! Boyds' plastic parts nonsense is one of the reasons I stopped buying their Axis stocks.
