Hello, my name is dave.
I have a few Savage Axis riffles. I am interested in learning how to make them competitive.
Looking forward to talking to other people.

Howdy friend. Excellent name ya have there!;) LOL!
Competitive? Honestly, you don’t need to do a thing. Just go compete. The first thing to me, would be reloading. If you don’t already. If you are looking to do things to your rifle, to customize it, same applies as any other rifle.
I’ve gone pretty extreme with building my Savage 10. Actually it was complete, then I ripped it apart and started a complete makeover. New barrel, Bolt Head, bolt & Action mods for light lift & smoother action, everything Cerakoted and sits in a Mirage URL Chassis. I’ve even machined a part or two for it(firing pin). Thing is, I don’t compete. I’ve done all this for my own enjoyment. And I started with a Savage Action because I am a true Savage rifle fan.
