Is it common these pins can bend? I have a short action that is bent and rubbing the interior of the bolt head and bolt. It is causing issues with repeatability of trigger pulls. The second pin I purchased is bent slightly, not to the degree of the original. I was planning on straightening the new one, the bend is located far enough back I don't think there will be any issues down the road.

I've seen my share of firing pins that were slightly bent, but those look pretty rough. The closer pics almost look like corrosion. As far as straightening them, you can only go so far as they are hardened. I would polish them off with a drill and emery cloth and them coat them with a sharpie and test them for contact. As rough as those marks look, I would also check the inside of the bolt head for crud and debris.
Firing pins don't usually bend with use, they typically start out bent from the get go.

You can straighten it (with care). I was tired of the poor fit & poor quality of new ones. So I machined my own from S7 tool steel. It’s slightly thicker, is heavier than stock & fit perfectly to my bolt head. Also using a 20lb. Flat Wire, Chrome-Silicon spring.
