Howdy all. I am new to this board but not to Savage rifles!
I had a model 12 in .308 that was bone stock back from about 2005 to 2010. I traded up into a model 10FCP in .308 about 11 or 12 years ago. It's heavily modded and has the Choate stock and a Vortex PST FFP 6-24x50 EBR1 on it. Here's a couple of old pics from when it was still wearing a "starter" scope (Falcon Menace 4-14):

Here's a video of my son shooting eggs with it waaay back in 2012. He's all growed-up and married now.

My daughter shoots a 11 trophy hunter XP in .243 that is bone stock:

And my latest project is a model 11 that I have already re-barreled with a 16" threaded Shilen in .308, heavy sporter with a brake. It will be pillar and action bedded into a Boyd's AT-1 thumbhole and wearing a Vortex Diamondback 4-12x40 soon enough. I'm going to stick with the plastic bottom metal and factory mags. This is going to be my dedicated hunting rifle.
