View Full Version : Mark I/II/93R: Struggling To Find 93R17 Repair Parts

I have a lightly-used 93R17 that has a broken part on the trigger group.

I've looked at numerous exploded diagrams and the site rimfire FAQ to determine that my gun appears to have an E-receiver that has traits of the older style receiver. The issue is that all of the photos and diagrams of the e-receiver show a magazine well, while my gun has an "l-bar" behind the retainer spring like earlier versions. It appears to be a hybrid (see photos). All parts diagrams I find don't show the configuration i have

I'd really like to get this back into service. Any ideas?

My suggestion is to contact Savage for help. I would call - NOT email - I've always had good service from them but emails can be ignored/lost, so hence the phone call.

That is the newer style trigger and magazine guide that is cast in one piece. The 1st gen E receivers used a separate bar for a guide.
