I have a accutrigger savage 114 in 30’06 and I am looking for ideas about set ups in regards to mount \ base and rings please, what is everyone running? Issues I may have ? The 110 is universal with the 114 series?

the 110, 111, 112, 114 all take the same rail as they are all long action savages. The Axis is not the same screw hole pattern as the 110. that is all you need to know. I run EGW, Burris and Nightforce rails on mine. They all work fine, never had a failure.

If you don't mind spending a little extra $$$, Ken Farrell bases are the best in my opinion. As far as ring go, I always use Warne. They are a little tougher to mount because they are split vertically, but my scopes never look like they were mounted in Vise Grip pliers as many of the used scopes I see for sale out there. Also, I've never had these rings come loose even on heavy hitters like the .338 Lapua or Edge.

I typically prefer steel so either Warne, or Ken Farrell picatinny rails are what I use. Most of the time for rings, I'll use Burris Signature Zee rings.
