View Full Version : Savage 114 recoil pad options?

Greetings I have a savage 114 rifle with a G series serial number if that matters with a wood stock. I was wonder if there is an out of the box recoil pad that will fit my rifle? Maybe with out grinding to fit?

No such thing I'm aware of.
I like recoil pads and shoulder pads at the bench. When old guys tell you to take care of your body they are speaking through the pain they caused theirs!

FWIW: I got this one a few years ago. Really close match and very little shaping.

Nice looking rifle. Can you tell me about it? What's the barrel length?

It is an older Flat Back with a walnut stock, Rifle Basix trigger, Leupold scope. When this photo was taken it was with a 24" 6.5 Creedmoor.

I have a model 111 (300 WM) with a laminate Savage Factory (possibly Boyds) stock. It appears that it came as new with a Limbsaver recoil pad. The one that was on it had deteriorated a bit
The pad had a sticker on the bottom which I looked up.
This is the one I purchased and it fit mine perfect. YMMV
