I have a 10 FCP-SR and although the 1" thick cushy butt pad is nice, I'm looking for a thinner one to shorten up the length of pull a little. It's a .308 so the recoil isn't bad and I'm thinking a 1/2" pad would be ideal, if it exists. I searched but haven't seen anything so far. Anybody got a lead on one? Thx.

Don’t think you’ll find anything to order. I’d get this and make my own.
https://www.amazon.com/Neoprene-Rubber-Sheet-Solid-Strip/dp/B07V9RQQFK/ref=sr_1_19?crid=BPVFB3Y2MI6V&keywords=60a+neoprene+rubber+sheet+1%2F2”&qid=1645592730&sprefix=60a+neoprene+rubber+sheet+1%2F2+%2Caps%2C7 1&sr=8-19

This this Neoprene is pretty hard rubber. It’s available in different hardness. 60a, 65a,70a Durometer, etc. It’s super tough, but easy to work with. Cut & shape. I’ve used it in many projects. Remove the old pad, trace out the circumference of the stock, cut it out & shape to your liking and attach with 2-part epoxy. Sounds like a lot, but it’s really not. Works great & inexpensive.

Do a search for "flip flop recoil pad" and you'll find that a lot of western hunters have removed their factory recoil pad and replaced them with a piece taken from cheap Wal-mart flip flops. Costs about $2. I did one on a Howa Mini Grendel and it worked great. Dropped the weight of the rifle by about 5 oz. too.
