I have an older savage tube fed .22. When I shot my last tube of ammo before going home, on the first trigger pull it emptied the entire tube in two seconds…. I took it apart and getting ready for sonic cleaner, just seeing if anybody has any input on anything else to look for. Thanks!

LOL If only they would do that only on demand when you are ready for it! Slam fire when sear is not recaptured each time. your probably on the right track with cleaning it. look for broken springs.

You should of seen the entire rimfire section do a slow head turn in my direction….

Actually had a model 7 do that to me once, same action only mag fed.

Emptied the mag in under a second and covered the guy beside me at the range in casings. I said I was sorry and all he could say was "can I try that"?

Took it home and gave it a cleaning and all is good again.

Had a pin slide partially out on a AR trigger once. It got exciting around round 15.
