Hello all, I have a Savage 110 Apex Hunter XP Rifle Synthetic Ergo Black Stock, bottom bolt release SA in 7mm-08.

I bought a Bell and Carlson sporter stock #1007. I now need bottom metal to use this stock. I know that this has been discussed and I have searched, hopping my humor is well received. After looking through the posts I am still confused as a newborn in a top less bar.

Please help me identify the parts I need to get this stock to work.
The 110 uses the centerfed Axis detachable magazine. I want to use the bottom metal with the metal magazine and a metal bottom bolt release trigger guard.

Thank you, Jeff

Most of the time people use an aftermarket Bottom Metal in order to run AICS magazine, not the factory mag. I’ll be honest, if you are clueless on aspects to fitting a BM, I wouldn’t recommend doing it yourself. Take it to someone qualified and continue learning.

Not necessarily quless, just clueless to the part numbers needed. I want to stay Savage. I've seen the sheet with different serial numbers, I just don't know which one I need to go by. Thank you for your input.

So here is what I have came up with.
Bottom metal matte blue #106705
Triger guard #107217
Magazine #55155

Does this appear to be the correct parts?

Thank you, Jeff

Trigger guard assy matte part #107217 (bottom bolt release) metal

Frame assy short acction matte (DBM) #106705 metal

Magazine bottom metal short acction matte #106245

Magazine box assy short acction matte #106235 metal

These are the part numbers I used for the bottom metal, trigger guard and bottom metal for the Axis type magazine to use in the Bell and Carlson sporter stock I purchased.

Thanks to Dave Hoback for the above post making me find it for myself. It was confusing to me reading the other posts talking about serial numbers and all that. Anyway, the above is what I used and went ahead and bought a spare magazine while I was at it. Figured a spare wouldn't hurt and when I go to Africa I'll carry it with me rather than carrying extra ammo in a belt pouch.

Awesome! Yes, I didn’t have the part numbers readily available. I could have looked, and certainly would have if you had decided to answer back and ask:redface-new: However you knew someone else looking for the info wouldn’t do you any good in know what to do. Good findings my friend. Keep us informed. I, and I’m sure others, would like to see your finished product. Even better... do a little “build thread” on it.

@Dave Hoback, thank you. The rear trigger guard screw hole stripped out. I put some marine tex in it, I need to drill it and put the wood screw in and it will be done.
