Thank you for accepting my request for membership. Hopefully someone can provide the info I need. Recently sold my Mo.10 youth in 7-08 to my friend for his son. My friend wants to purchase a Boyds thumbhole stock for it. He hasn't received the gun yet. My question is . Is the blind box magazine attached to the barreled action. I honestly can't remember. Boyds needs this info in order to send him the proper stock. I have looked at schematics but they are no help. If someone has a mod10 and could take a pic of the barreled action it would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Easy to tell sing out pulling the action. Load a couple rounds into the magazine and look at how the first round is fed.

Thank you for your reply. However I guess I need to be clearer in what I need. The Mod.10 in question is a blind box magazine (top loader) not a DBM. Boyds want to know if the mag well is attached to the receiver. I believe it is but not sure. Thank you.
Just remove the rifle from the stock and look.

Well, the STAGGERFEED has the mag box attached to the Action. But we cannot tell you which you have without seeing it. With the info I gave you, you should be able to tell. If you are still unclear, I recommend taking it to a Gunsmith.

Thank you for your replies. However as stated I don't have the rifle. It is in transit to the new owner. He asked me this question and I am just trying to get him the info.
