PA Gun season opens monday

As all you PA gunners already know it's opening day of gun season Monday. Unfortunitly I wont be able to go to the rifle zones but I will be going local with my 220F. Checked her out today with some Remington 2-3/4" Accutips and shot a respectable 1-1/2" at 100 yards. Set her 3" high and dead center so I'm good to go!

So where ya'll going and what are you carrying?

Ed I will be going on my Son's ground in Somerset Co. and I will most likely be carrying my Savage 110 in 25-06 that I put together from parts gathered up from all over the country. If I don't use it I may use my Encore with the 308 barrel on it.

I already have meat in the freezer as I killed a doe in the early muzzle loader season with my ML10-II.

This year will be the first time since i was 12 years old ( now 65 this year) that i will be not going hunting at all small or big game, I'm not walking very well offroad so this will be it sadly to say it's a BxxxH but what am i to do

I will be heading to the game lands just passed Cabelas in Hamburg. I will be taking my new Savage Model 11 in 308.
