If anyone is interested in upgrading the bolt handle on their savage, here is one that I got from Glades Armory.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220212/79375dc437fcceea80cd95ca58ba9519.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220212/fb2a59224c7bf75dd9b540767eaf3a88.jpg

Yes, Glades is well known. They make very fine handles.

You simply remove the BAS (Bolt Assembly Screw). That large Allen head (most) bolt just behind the handle. It’s typically on very tight, but a bit of persuasion will get it;) Here is a video showing the simplicity. And there are many other tutorial vids if that one is not to your liking.

How difficult is it to swap out the bolt handle? The reason I ask is I have a 110 Hog hunter with the larger factory bolt handle and I really dislike it, It is loose in all directions and I would like to replace it with a smaller factory knob with the knurled top. I would like to go with a more traditional savage style bolt handle. Also where could I buy a stock savage bolt handle?

So in essence, I need a "Bolt handle downgrade".Underdog,
I would be willing to sell you the one I took off.

They are well made. I’ve had one in Black Nitride with “Badger Style” Tactical bolt. Definitely part of my crazy easy Bolt Lift. I have a video on YouTube and posted the link here as well.
