I have the savage 110 switchback in 6arc with bottom bolt release. The stock trigger would only adjust down to around 3.5 lbs. I replaced the trigger spring with one from a 12fv top bolt release, which broke around 1lb. The 110 now breaks at about 2lb. Both of my other top bolt release rifles trigger break around 1- 1.5 lb as well. Is there anything else that can be done without replacing the trigger to get the trigger weight down?

A trigger job. Let me ask, are these all Accutriggers, non accutriggers? All around the same age & use? One older or newer than the others?

All accutriggers. The 110 is about a month old. The others are 12fvs and 10 stealth, all purchased within the last few years and similar usage.

They are all accutriggers. The 110 is a couple months old, the model 12s and 10 stealth are all a couple years old with similar usage.

Age & use have a part in it as well. An older, more used trigger will be lighter & smoother than newer. The springs have relaxed some & the surfaces have essential “polished” one another...worn each other flatter. Also, to get a truly accurate pull rate, I would measure each three times, and average the pulls of each one.

Probably has more to do with the stacking of tolerances within each specific rifle than the spring.
