Which is better model of the 99 is better for 308? The rotary magazine or detachable magazine model?

After looking around I found savage 99c with a detachable magazine and a 99f with the rotary magazine and a ammo counter. Which one is better if they are priced exactly the same? I know that the detachable magazine is from later production, so would it chamber 308 better? Which one has more value?I intend the rifle to be used as a brush gun.

Accuracy wise - no difference from what I've ever seen.

Generally speaking - the internal rotary mag models are more desirable, especially those made before 1960. Like most gun manufacturers, Savage made some significant design changes in the early 1960's to make their rifles cheaper and easier to manufacture.
