Hey y’all,
AD AF here currently stationed in MT, but originally from TX. Been shooting pretty much my whole life, but am new(er) to bolt actions/long range. I’ve tinkered and shot them before but for S&G. Mainly shot handguns/AR-style rifles.
I was gifted a 110 Tactical Desert in 6.5 CM this year and got my son a Rascal .22 last year.
My main goal is hunting and precision long range down the road. I’m also interested in getting a .308 barrel as well (if someone could help me understand if that’s just a barrel change with headspace adjustments… as well as preferred barrel brands [I’ve been looking at Proof and X-Caliber] - It’d be much appreciated!)
Looking forward to getting the information overload from y’all and learning long range precision.
