Glad to be part of the forum. Been living in FL for around 22 years now (originally from UK). Started shooting .22 back in England when I was about 15. Used to shoot in a national league National smallbore Rifle association. But only used to shoot prone using a single point sling.
Did not shoot for 30+ years as I was using most of my adult time involved in the world of water skiing. I was a member of the Great Britain Barefoot ski team in the eighties and drove internationally for 3-event ski tournaments.
Now I am in my sixties, I decided to get back into shooting as its a lot easier on this old body !.....I started with handguns and enjoy them very much (they are completely outlawed back in the UK).
My most recent purchase was a Savage B22 Precision rifle.
I am having great fun with it and continue to try and get better with each trip to the range. As with most things I do, I like to "Tinker", so I shall no doubt be accessorizing my new toy .
look forward to sharing and gaining knowledge from other members here.

From one newbie to another , Welcome ! I too used to barefoot in the 90's . I owned a Ski Brendella , but I was not at the pro level , just loved to do it . Deep water starts , jumps and body slides , all big fun .
Also , I'm in Florida too , in the Port St Lucie area . Where are you shooting ?

Thanks, we did not have many barefoot boats back in the UK during the 80's, so nearly all my training was behind a master craft pro star or Nautique 2001. Certainly made wake slalom a challenge !! Seems to have come a long way now with the super low wake outboards and sky high pylons !
I do most of my Rifle shooting at the Knights trail gun range in Sarasota.
