Impulse Predator Availability Notice

Just got a notification that the Impulse Predator in .308 is available. Maybe they're getting some more in the pipeline finally.

I've also seen 243, and 6.5CM predator's available recently too.

I was told just yesterday that there's been an "unforeseen" production delay regarding the Impulse Predator in .22-250 that I have on request. Request has been in since early last January when they first announced the new Impulse models, and almost ever month since then I've inquired about when I might actually receive it only to get some vague excuse. On Sept. 29 I was told I should be receiving it in early November. Yet again nothing showed up so I contacted them again on Monday and that's the info I got back.

Judging by how few Impulses I've seen listed on GunBroker and the various online retail sites I think it's safe to say this launch has been a complete disaster for Savage. Seems small batches of specific calibers/models will get out now and then (300WM and .308 Hog Hunters primarily), but that's about it. I'm sure Covid has played a small part in it with supply shortages from some vendors, but they're still kicking out Axis, Apex and 110's in plentiful numbers so they can't pin the blame on raw material shortages or labor issues.
