Hello
I have a newbie in my collection.
Hope to use it on whitetail this year yet.
I have some 200 grain Hornady round nose interlocks
Imr 4064 and 4895
Cci primer
With the 200 grain round nose should I start with the 4064 or 4895
Then
With the round nose bullets do you seat them the same as a spire point at .010 to .030 off the lands ?
I am a virgin with round nose bullets.
😊
Let me know your thoughts
Thanks all

Savage 99 in 358 Winchester with Leopol 1x5 1/2 compact scope
Started with some Federal 308 brass and ran them through a Lee resizing die.
CCI Primer
IMR 4064 powder started at 44 grns
200 grain Hornady round nose interlocks
2.67 oal
Groups tightened up with each increase of powder.
Settled on 46 grains
Shot 1" group at 100 yards
Should be good for whitetail
Hope to report results on how they work on deer in several weeks.

i have a small stash of 200 and 250 loaded and some new unfired win cases in boxes of 20.
i could easily be talked out of 2 boxes for a reasonable price and flat rate shipping.

Thanks for the offer.
I have plenty of 308 brass from the past.
Resizing is going good, so I will pass.
Thanks again !

Ya know.... I’ve been here many years. After I joined a member here graciously loaned me a tool I didn’t have at the time. Just last year, another member GAVE me about 500 pieces LC 5.56 brass. In the past years I’ve GIVEN Large Rifle primers to a member in need(when they couldn’t be found), I’ve done numerous trigger jobs for member & continue....at NO CHARGE, and I even machined several really nice Titanium Lift Kits and GAVE them away to members.

Meanhile, a NEW member offers to SELL brass within 30 posts. Good riddens, seriously!
