Hi all, I'm a semi-retired guy from western South Dakota. I currently own a Savage Axis in 30-06, and my better half is also shooting an Axis - the youth model .243. We both recently got back into hunting after a 20-something year hiatus due to work, kids, and other obligations. So far antelope and deer doe tags have been our lucky draw. I'm currently looking to add another rifle just to have an extra on hand in case we need it or if one of our boys decides to hunt with us, so be ready I might have a question or two.:cool:

Howdy! Welcome from Colorado but really South Dakota … I grew up in Custer and hunted both the Black Hills and an uncle’s ranch near Creighton before the Navy took me elsewhere.
