I just got the third variant of a 1919 NRA Match, and found this site in a search, looking for more on the different sights used on the different variants. Looks like a lot of my friends are already here. I have an early 1919, 4 digit serial #, with split firing pin. Last week I found a very nice 1923, and last night I bought a 1933. I bought my 1919 a number of years ago and was amazed that the very first time I shot it, on my 25 yard range, it put 5 shots in one hole. Several years ago I found a nice Fecker 10X scope, and have been thinking of buying a new rifle to put it on. I didn't want to put it on my 1919 because of the low serial number, wanting to keep it 100% original. Now, seeing how many different sights were used, my next quest may be to find a rifle with each different sight used for it's serial number range. The 1933 I just bought is an early 33 with the tall rear sight. The serial range for 33's started at 45,000, and this one is 45,024, so I doubt it gets the Fecker.

I have several 1899's, and 99's. Including a 1912 H in 22 HiPower with the original Malcolm scope, and a factory letter stating the rifle was sold to Malcolm.

Other interests are Offshore fishing and old Mopars.

I use Rarefish383 because I have a 68 Barracuda Formula S 383, 4 speed, convertible. Plymouth only made 64 of these cars, so, Rarefish383, Joe.
