read that the bolt through the forend of the fox model has been known to shear off. Is there a way to prevent this or is it a non issue

I had the screw shear off after having repair work done. The gunsmith reinstalled the cocking springs incorrectly and the gun was very hard to close. I took it to another smith who immediately recognized the problem and fixed it. I have another bse that I have hunted with for years with no problems.
